I am registered as a Practitioner Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), as well as being a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and a member of the BPS Division of Clinical Psychology. This means that my practice is regularly audited by the UK’s professional regulating body.

I am accredited in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I have also had extensive further training in Compassion Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

The emphasis of my Clinical Psychology training was on the critical integration of cognitive-behavioural (conscious thoughts, feelings and behaviour), psychodynamic (unconscious processes) and systemic (group processes) perspectives. Throughout my core training I undertook specialist placements in the use of psychodynamic and psychoanalytic techniques and their integration in a contemporary context.

I have also had many years of supervision, mentorship and training analysis from a highly specialised psychoanalytic psychotherapist.
